Miami Herald does article on Al Roth after his 101st birthday!

Al Roth, the grove owner, the real estate developer, the craps player, is demonstrating his likeable charm and quick wit. Entertaining flocks of visitors to his family’s grove in Davie, the 101-year-old tells stories of gambling at the Brook Club and dancing the night away at the National Hotel in Miami Beach during the 1950s.

“We partied galore, but we always made it home for breakfast,” he says.

Al Roth returns as Grand Marshal to the Orange Blossom Parade and Festival

Anyone who's lived in Davie for more than a year can tell you how much fun the Orange Blossom Parade and Festival are.

That's why Bob Roth's New River Groves is excited to be involved yet again -- and this time our beloved Al Roth will be the Grand Marshal. Apparently turning 100 years young is no obstacle for one of Davie's early citrus pioneers. With Al's penchant for history and experience in the citrus industry, it's only fitting that he lead the festivities celebrating the founding of the Town of Davie.

New River Groves to host Kick-Off Party for Relay for Life Thursday

You CAN make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Stop by Bob Roth's New River Groves this Thursday, January 27, to join the efforts of Relay For Life in Davie and Cooper City, as they host their team Kickoff and Registration party at the grove.

The annual Relay for Life event for our local community takes place on Saturday March 26 through Sunday March 27, at Cooper City High School, and features nearly 1,000 participants, including survivors, community partners and everyday people who are fighting to raise money and awareness.

Honeybells have arrived!

Florida Honeybell tangelos, one of the sweetest and most popular Florida citrus varieties, have arrived roadside at Bob Roth's New River Groves!

Although many people believe Honeybells are oranges, they are actually tangelos, a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit. Honeybell tangelos, also sometimes called Minneola tangelos, get their unique sweet taste from being a hybrid of the Ruby Red Grapefruit and a tangerine.
