Be sure to set your alarm early on Saturday, February 27 so you can get your spot on the parade route for the annual Orange Blossom Parade in Davie, FL. We’re pleased to announce that once again, Bob Roth’s New River Groves will be featured in the kick-off event of the Orange Blossom Festival.

This year, we’ll have not just one, but three different floats! Here’s what’s in store for you:

Florida fruit survives cold snap

Although temperatures dropped down to the low 30s the past couple of nights, Bob Roth’s New River Groves is pleased to report the crops in Florida have come through with no damage. We’re giving the green light on all our fruit shipping, including honeybell tangelos, ruby red grapefruit, scarlet navels and more.

Back in 1964 when we first opened New River Groves, nearly all our business – including shipping fresh Florida oranges and other citrus throughout the country – was handled in person, and face to face. Although we have enjoyed seeing the faces of friends we’ve made along the way, we know that I may not always be convenient to stop by our Davie, Florida, location just to place a fruit delivery order … especially if you live in New York or Chicago.
