Lychees have arrived!!

The ever popular lychee nuts have arrived! Stop by Bob Roth's New River Groves to pick up some fresh lychees, just harvested. Lychee season is short, so hurry by our Farmer's Market in Davie today.

Lychee prices: $9.50 per pound (under 5 lbs) or $9 per pound for 5 lbs or more.

A&E Summer TV Show "The Glades" to feature Bob Roth's New River Groves

Iconic Davie storefront will be closed Friday, June 18, as it adds another location shoot to its resume

If you watch the new TV show "The Glades" airing on A&E starting July 11, and feel a little deja vu ... could be that you've caught the episode that will be filmed this Friday at Bob Roth's New River Groves. To make room for camera crews, TV stars and other production personnel, New River Groves will be closed for the day.

Good news this week for Broward County residents who lost citrus trees

At Bob Roth's New River Groves, we've always enjoyed helping homeowners grow citrus trees, and sell all kinds of Florida fruit trees in our Davie store.

Many of our customers, neighbors and friends will be happy to hear about a Florida appeals court decision this week. The court upheld an $11 million award for Broward County homeowners who lost their citrus trees during the canker scare.

South Florida’s top high school talent to be featured in an “Artistic Discovery” by US Congress

Winners announced at a special reception at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL on Monday, May 3

Bob Roth’s New River Groves is pleased to support local young artist as part “The Artistic Discovery Contest” sponsored by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Shultz and the US House of Representatives. On Monday, May 3, New River Groves will be sharing and serving our famous Terry’s Key Lime Pies as a part of the reception of more than 250 people honoring the winners.

Census forms now available our Davie location

Bob Roth's New River Groves is making it easy for you to make sure you're counted in the 2010 United States Census. Conveniently located just off the Turnpike in central Broward County, we've agreed to serve as an official Census Form distribution center.

If you haven't yet received your form in the mail, then be sure to stop by soon and get the questionnaire. The forms are due to be mailed back by April 1, 2010.

Although temperatures dropped down to the low 30s the past couple of nights, Bob Roth’s New River Groves is pleased to report the crops in Florida have come through with no damage. We’re giving the green light on all our fruit shipping, including honeybell tangelos, ruby red grapefruit, scarlet navels and more.
